I used their shared hosting about a year ago. After 2 months they suddenly kicked me out (they claimed my traffic was too high... What about "unlimited"?!) and my website (and therefore my income!) was down for a week because of this! They promised to refund my payment for remaining 9 months. Ok. After one month I still had nothing from them. I asked them nicely. No response! The same thing continued for 6 following months! They just avoided me! And eventually they refunded me SIX dollars! So I had to pay them for 8 months for nothing!!!
The worst customer service behaviour on this planet! And unethical...
If you have a small site - use their service. If you have a bigger/better site - avoid them!

Hostmonster is definitely a great web host. I have been using them for a long time now and have already recommended their services to around 50 of my clients. Firstly, Their price is great, you can't get better price for quality hosting anywhere else. Second, Their feature set is good. Third, Their server uptime is fantastic.

Fourth, their support is excellent. I have only contacted their support say 7 or 8 times now, and have always been given the best support. If you are considering them for your hosting, don't hesitate and go with them, you won't regret.

Hostmonter is as good as other great web hosts like Hostgator, Bluehost. I have been using them for 8 months now and never have had to contact even their support. Their up time is great, over 99.9% every month. Besides they are the cheapest in the list of best shared web hosts. They seem to be offering unlimited disk space and monthly bandwidth these days. They offer almost all the essential features for free. I heard great things about them from a lot of webmasters on forums. What more can I say? They are your best bet if you are looking for good shared web hosting.

I am not really tech savvy but I can find myself around the internet. Sometimes, I will get lost while I am doing something. I will click something I call 'panic button'. I think you all know what I am talking about. Hostmonster Live Help!!! They are pretty quick in responding to your question. Well, I didn't say Hostmonster is perfect.

Just few days ago, I tried to use the promotional offer of $50 Google ad credit. I have never used it but it tells me it is expired. I understand the coupon might be expired. But Hostmonster should have replaced it with new coupon since I just transfered my domain to them. Still they deserve the rating of 5.

Hostmonster is as good as Hostgator shared web hosting, if not better. I used them for about one year for some of my sites before I moved to some VPS. They offer great web hosting at cheap price. I never experienced anything less than 99.95% up time. Their support are quick and efficient in solving your problems. With their Unlimited disk space and unlimited monthly bandwidth you can make the most of the money you pay for their hosting. You would get all those primary features free with them, What more do you want?
